Interview with International Shakespeare Center - The Roman Plays
The International Shakespeare Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico is back to live productions featuring the Roman Plays - Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar and Coriolanus. I was joined by Artistic Director/Actor Ariana Karp and Guest Director/Actor Edward Daranyi. The ISC is also coordinating a city-wide Summer Shakespeare Festival. (More interviews here.)

The International Shakespeare Center Company will perform two of Shakespeare’s most potent political thrillers: Coriolanus which takes place at the very beginning of the Roman Republic; and Julius Caesar represents the end of the Roman Republic, portraying the events that ultimately and ironically lead to the Roman Empire. The productions will be performed in repertory with a tight cast of 11 actors. Performing August 26 - September 12 • Thursdays-Saturdays 7:30 pm • Sundays 2 pm
